Then there will be those who have 'converted' (if I can use a religious word?) for health reasons. There are an increasing number of lactose intolerant people who have migrated from cow's milk to soya milk to avoid allergy issues. And I guess there will be some research or evidence or other out there to link steroids in cattle to all sorts of ailments in humans. Just don't google this as you will face a world of pain as you scroll through conspiracy theory to crank pot ideas and back again!

I'm not sure how I feel about guys who are vegan mind. There is a real prejudice, an active setereotype about lettuce munching men. The image is of a guy in a woolly jumper wearing leather sandals and mumbling words like 'man' and 'right on' every so often as they suck on a stickj of celery. Am I being too harsh? Of course I am. In fact I am going to go out of my way to seduce a sexy vegan dude this weekend and then I will be able to compare the energy levels where it matters most! Let your imagination wander!

But the main group must surely be people who are doing this for animal husbandry reasons and I guess whilst I thoroughly enjoy eating meat I wouldn't want to visit a slaughterhouse anytime soon.
